North American Racing Team N.A.R.T. badge. Solid brass and enamel car badge.
The badge is die struck solid brass which has recieved a surface of hard enamel. It is a true work of art. This emblem is a real stunner with its prancing horse in combination with the stars and stripes. Being solid brass, it weighs 52 grams and meassures 57×35 mm or 2.24×1.38 inches. Between the mounting screws, the distance is 33 mm or 1,26 inches. It would look great in any collection or on any period vintage car, but maybe especially good on that Ferrari of yours!
The North American Racing Team was created by Luigi Chinetti, the legendary Ferrari importer to USA, in 1958, with backing from the wealthy racers George Arents and Jan de Vroom. Success came in all legendary races such as the 24 Hours of Daytona, 12 Hours of Sebring and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
