Description
Mercedes Benz Mille Miglia embroidery patch! Iron on, 80 mm in diameter. The best result is achieved if you both iron it on and at the same time also use good old fashioned needle and thread. Appy it it on any garment, or just keep in in your collection, on your desk or in your book shelf as a reminder of a great episode inthe Italian and english racing history!
In 1955, one of the most outstanding events in motorsport history took place in Italy. Sir Stirling Moss with the help of co-driver Denis Jenkinson covered the Mille Miglia with an avvarage speed of close to 100 MPH! Imagine driving the Mercedes SLR on public roads in Italy in 1955 flat out for approximatly 10 hours, and you will better understand what really happened. The patch is a tribute to the Mercedes SLR carrying the number 722, and its silver and red colour scheme makes your heart beat faster. What a truly stunning car! And what a patch! The patch would look great in any collection, but maybe especially good on that jacket or overall of yours, or in that Mercedes collection you have!
