Although the Ferrari 412P, entered by the North American Racing Team, or N.A.R.T., to tackle the 24 hours of Le Mans in 1967 did not finnish the race, it goes down in history as being one of the most beautiful racing cars ever to have entered a race. Just look at the picture below! Driven by latin heroes Pedro Rodriguez (MEX) and Giancarlo Bhagetti (ITA) the car retired after 144 laps. The patch has a diameter of 90 mm. In 1967 the Ford vs Ferrari war was being battled out on all the major racing circuits around the world. Ford was to claim another round at Le Mans this year, with its at the time unbeatable long distance racer the GT40.
