Description

The badge is solid copper which has been plated in shiny chrome and handcrafted enamel. Just look at the detailed pictures! Mount it on any vehicle, or just keep in in your collection, on your desk or in your book shelf as a reminder of a great episode in racing history!

The badge is a tribute to Jaguar and its prominent history, and its maroon and black colour scheme makes your heart beat faster. What a badge! It comes in a metal box, and on its backside it has a mounting screw, a large oval washer as well as a selflocking type nut. You can cut the length of the mounting screw to your desired length. It was happy times apart from the 1955 victory. The 1955 race was Le Mans darkest hour, and 83 spectators were killed when the Mercedes 300SLR of Pierre Levegh spun off the track and into the crowd. Hawthorn/Bueb went on to win the race.

In 1956 (above), the Ecurie Ecosse entered D-type driven by Ron Flockhart and Ninian Sanderson stepped in to take the win when the Jaguar factory effort failed. What beautiful cars they are!
