Description

The keychain is made from stitched leather with an enamel badge insert. It is a true work of art! Just look at the detailed pictures! This is a must for any Jag and is a reminder of a great episode in racing history!

In the 1950´s, Jaguar ruled at Le Mans winning the race 1951, 1953, 1955, 1956 and 1957 with their C-types and D-types. It was happy times apart from the 1955 victory. The 1955 race was Le Mans darkest hour, and 83 spectators were killed when the Mercedes 300SLR of Pierre Levegh spun off the track and into the crowd. Hawthorn/Bueb went on to win the race.

In 1956 (above), the Ecurie Ecosse entered D-type driven by Ron Flockhart and Ninian Sanderson stepped in to take the win when the Jaguar factory effort failed. What beautiful cars they are……..

The keychain is a tribute to Jaguar and its prominent history, and its maroon and black colour scheme makes your heart beat faster. What an accessorie! On its backside it has a smooth, clean leather surface.
